They don't really do anything, but you can almost hear their sighs and their foot-tapping at feeding time. It feels like, Honestly, we work for them ALL DAY--you'd think the least they could do is feed us on time. :-)Liz Flahertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06794565644883272260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12216237.post-60962616483713225422013-07-30T13:45:58.943-04:002013-07-30T13:45:58.943-04:00Escape artist is the *perfect* way to describe Pug...Escape artist is the *perfect* way to describe Puggles (and Beagles). We may try one again, because they are supposed to be great for families. But, the next will be a puppy that we know *everything possible* about!

Your Mimi (and Beast and Cali) sound like great family members!Kristina Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13674920511835640874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12216237.post-72276325115473668682013-07-30T13:43:53.175-04:002013-07-30T13:43:53.175-04:00I do, too, D'Ann...and I just looked on the si...I do, too, D'Ann...and I just looked on the site - and he got adopted! Hope he's found a great home!

And I love hearing about your horde!!!Kristina Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13674920511835640874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12216237.post-34021032014324668442013-07-30T11:57:49.119-04:002013-07-30T11:57:49.119-04:00I'm not that impressed with your Humane Societ...I'm not that impressed with your Humane Society--ours fixes dogs before they go out into homes or if they are puppies, they give you a voucher to get it done. Puggles are half Beagle and trust me, I know Beagles and their escape/running tendencies.

Our Mimi is a beagle and she's an escape artist and we've had to chase her for almost an hour or so at times. The worst is that when she sees us, she just keeps running like we're playing some fabulous game :) We have to pray for a stranger to wander by and have them capture her. Although as she gets older, she gets a little less escape-aggressive.

Mimi is Jordan's dog. I just pay her bills and buy her food :) Kristen has two cats--one came to us through friends who had a feral kitten living in their garage and is still a little bit feral. She only goes willingly to Kristen and never comes out of Kristen's room. In fact, Mimi has never got her scent so goes crazy if Beast gets near the door.

And we have Cali, a little calico who came was a street-rescue. She was malnourished and probably the runt of her litter, so she's still pretty small even though she's a few years old. And she is a riot. She was supposed to be my cat, but she's actually Beast's baby. So, when Kristen moves out, both cats will be leaving us.

And so happy that your dog-search had such a happy-ending. Six dogs! Half are rescues, the other half were bought. I feel so sad for that little pug dog. He didn't know better. I hope someone can give him a great home. But Angel and Bebe sound like the perfect fit! Yay!D'Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05333880627045486088noreply@blogger.com
